Jack E. King, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Jack King grew up in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University Dental School, he served as a Dental Officer in the Navy and Marine Corps for two years. Upon returning to O.S.U., he completed the two year full time residency in orthodontics. Once Dr. Jack completed his orthodontic residency, he came back to Dayton where he started in practice with his father, Dr. Ben King, and his partner, Dr. Melvin Mayerson. He has finished the two year program at the Foundation of Advanced Continuing Education and is a member of the prestigious Roth-Williams International Society. He continues intensive study in occlusion and facial/dental esthetics. Dr. Jack is an advisor to major orthodontic manufacturing companies, allowing him to try the newest, most advanced technologies. Dr. Jack is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Jack is nationally known for delivering the very best treatment to his patients, ensuring they each receive "the smile of their life".
Samuel B. King, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Sam King shares the enthusiasm and commitment to excellence in orthodontics initiated by his grandfather, Dr. Ben King, and is continued by his father, Dr. Jack King. Dr. Sam grew up in Dayton. At The Ohio State University he received early admittance to Dental School because of his excellent undergraduate record. In addition to his regular dental school courses he extensively researched the genetics of cleft lip and palate. After receiving his D.D.S. at O.S.U., he matriculated to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There he completed his three year residency in orthodontics and received a Master of Science in Oral Biology. During this time, he took additional training in facial and dental esthetics and function and completed the two year course at the Roth-Williams Advanced Education in Orthodontics Program. Dr Sam, upon graduation from his residency, was asked to be an Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania where he currently maintains a faculty position. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Sam, with his father Dr. Jack, works passionately in orthodontics to give each patient "the smile of their life".
Melvin Mayerson, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Mayerson is a graduate of The Ohio State University Dental School. His orthodontic residency was a two year post-graduate program at Northwestern University Dental School. He has served as President of the Dayton Dental Society and the Ohio Association of Orthodontists. In the past he was Assistant Clinical Professor in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics at The Ohio State University and an Associate Editor of a national orthodontic journal. Dr Mayerson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has been priviledged to lecture both in the United States and abroad. Dr Mayerson's knowledge and experience in the practice of orthodontics and his great skill in taking care of people has been invaluable in helping our practice stay on the cutting edge of treatment and patient service. His counsel enables the patients of King Orthodontics to receive "the smile of their life".
